The last big beach party of the summer was at Cabana Sam's next to Sunset Bay Beach Club last Saturday night. After having the final summer meal and closing down the kitchen, revelers drank the bar dry & headed to the beach for the grand finale; the annual Boat Burning. We stopped out at Sunset Bay Beach Club & Surfer's Beach Bar & Grill on an overcast evening and found the Beach Bar closed for the night but Surfer's next door was open for dinner and the patio bar was rockin'. We started our dinner with clams, both raw and steamed. Then the sampler platter with fingers, onion rings, pizza logs. Then it was juicy 1/2 lb burgers, delicious wraps and sandwiches. Usually when someone says let's go to Sunset, you think of the beach bar. But next time you head down to Sunset, plan to stay for dinner and late night partying at Surfer's Beach Bar & Grill.
