For 60 years, Louie's Footlong Hot Dogs has been charcoal grilling Buffalo's best hot dogs & burgers. Grill-master Ray "Peanut", who has been serving up Louie's famous food for over 18 years said that the keys to their success are quality ingredients and charcoal grilling. Owners Louie and his son Angelo haven't changed much at this famous Buffalo eatery. Giant potatoes are turned into fries in their custom curly Q fry cutter. Ingredients are prepared fresh daily. Everything is bigger and better at Louie's.

We talked to some of the customers to find out what keeps people coming back... Bob & Debbie were enjoying charcoal grilled Sahlen's hot dogs. They were in town for a college reunion. Bob said they just had to come to Louie's while they were in town. At another table, Jerrry & Frank both said that they've been coming here since Louie's opened, 60 years ago. We saw several families bringing the next generation of Louie's patrons. And another patron said that whenever he plays on the nearby golf course, he calls in an order.
