Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar Independence Day Celebration and Birthday Bash for JJ featuring DJ's & Live Music was one of the biggest late night parties on the eve of the July 4th holiday.

The Allentown Art Festival is one of Allen Street's biggest parties. At Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar, Dave Schultz brought the full CO Jones band for the Allentown Booty (shakin') Festival with a special guest appearance by the renowned Lance Diamond, Buffalo's master showman and funk specialist.

Duke's, the home of eclectic live music & great food in Allentown is also the place to be for all of the seasonal celebrations & holiday parties. And Dyngus Day is no exception! Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar runs the bar at the Central Terminal Dyngus Day party AND hosts the official Dyngus Day after party at their location on Allen Street.

The busiest bar or club on Halloween (Monday) night was Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar (DBGB) on Allen Street - by far. The club was quickly filled with monsters & mayhem even before the witching hour, which is unusual in Buffalo. With a $500 cash prize along with game tickets and other goodies to give away, Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar brought out the best and most creative costume wearing patrons. Going into their second year, Duke's on Allen continues to defy the trends, typical of the Buffalo bar scene. So, if you're looking for a new hangout on an off-night, or some funky entertainment, live music or DJ's along with some cool new beers served by colorful bartenders who know their stuff, stop by Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar.

Oh, and don't forget the food! Solid, well-prepared, pub fare, with an Allentown creative flare. Juicy burgers, fries, wings, ribs and more. Something to satisfy after work, before a long night out. Or just with some happy hour drinks...

Last Thursday night, Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar (formerly Staples of Allentown) celebrated their 1st anniversary with great music, drink specials, and a grand buffet. Thursday was also something of a grand opening party too, since Duke's had not yet officially celebrated their opening. Also worth celebrating is the recent opening of the kitchen at Duke's! The menu is simple, yet delicious. Everything from the Buffalo Chicken Wings to the Beef on Weck, Burgers, Ribs, Chix Cutlet Sandwich are prepared fresh.

On Friday night, Duke's featured "Pushin' the Envelope" with Alan Evans of Soulive along with DJ Cutler and special guest Free Henry.

Buffalobarfly once again enjoyed an amazing meal at Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar!  We had delicious egg plant wings, ribs and a chix cutlet sandwich.  Our night ended during happy hour at Duke's with great tunes from Workingman's Dead, a Grateful Dead tribute band!

Buffalo's own Allentown bar Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar was lit up as Headtronics performed a wide array of music that had style, flair, & a bass that kept people on the dance floor all night long. The L shaped bar has a great selection of beer and bar food, as well as a dance floor and a stage. This bar is a great addition to the heart of Allentown. Is Allentown the new Chippewa? PARDIGRAS does it again!  They put on a fabulous show at Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar, located in the heart of Allentown.  PARDIGRAS fans gathered together for a night full of dancing and hot music!

Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar is your Buffalo hot spot for all things good. Buffalobarfly enjoyed a plethora great food at this bar and restaurant. We started out with some hot Buffalo chicken wings, then some eggplant wings-a great alternative to chicken, fried pickles (Donny's specialty) served with spicy bohemian dipping sauce and banana peppers stuffed with Italian bread crumbs, herbs and romano cheese then topped with gorgonzola. After the appetizers we enjoyed a cheeseburger with fries, a massive chicken cutlet sandwich, and tangy, fall off the bone ribs!

You've come to Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar for great music, now you can enjoy great food there too!

JJ & the gang hosted Halloween night's biggest Buffalo area party at the former Staples on Allen, Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar. Sunday night, a mob of costumed party-goers & sexy creatures descended on Allentown for this monster party which featured a $500 cash prize for best costume. The party reached a fevered pitch as contest finalists packed the stage at around 3am (Monday morning), resulting in a tie for first place between Dead Mouse & Tommy Chong who split the $500 prize. There's a new bar on the Allentown scene, bringing a whole new vibe to the neighborhood. Husband & wife team Pat Duquin (longtime Hutch's GM) & Gabby Alfieri have taken the bar formerly known as Staples to the next left. Rebranded, Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar, they're bringing an eclectic mix of live rock & jam bands as well as a variety of DJ's spinning techno, house, funk & more. The "concert" room has been opened up into the bar for easier access. And a wide range of acts are booked including an upcoming show with Sonic Garden, featuring a guest performance by Vin Amico from Moe this coming Thursday. Some of the things that haven't changed are the wide selection of beers and the cool, underground feel. Plans for the future include the addition of a kitchen.
