 The Buffalo Destroyers edged out Toronto Phantoms 49 - 46 in front of 8,014 screaming fans.

Toronto had an answer for almost all Buffalo threw at them...

...but touchdown catches like these proved to be too much.

 The snowboarding contest that wasn't a contest
14 of the most progressive snowboarders in the world gathered in Niagara Falls, New York on May 11, 2002 in an effort to take home $30,000. Riders attacked 20-plus stair handrails and 12-foot tall cement ledges while performing extremely technical tricks. Only attempts where riders completely slid the rails and ledges were taken into account. Judges were Joel Mahaffey and Jason "J2" Rasmus.
