If you love beer, you should definitely check out the Blue Monk on Elmwood. Cole's owner Mike Shatzel has taken over the location formerly known as Merlin's. Earlier this year we watched as the old Merlins was completely gutted & transformed. Inside & out, the location has completely changed. Since opening a few months ago, the Blue Monk has been a huge hit. With an ever-changing beer board touting over 30 different beers and an upscale beer pub menu, the Blue Monk has exceeded everyone's expectations, even Shatzel's. We look forward to regularly sampling the latest offerings at the Blue Monk for many years to come.
