Every Friday evening, Shadow Lounge features live jazz at 5:30pm with Jim Bohm & Dave Calire. The patio is still open and we found Jim & Dave performing outside last week. We also enjoyed a few selections from the all new Shadow Lounge dinner menu by Executive Chef Christopher Andres. Shadow serves a delicious flatbread pizza. Ask your server for the daily selection. The Shadow fish fry is quite different from most of the area's typical beer battered varieties (many of which are delicious). At Shadow Lounge, the fish fry is a panko encrusted haddock served with potato and mesclun greens wrapped in English cucumber, topped with roma tomatoes, red onion and honey balsamic vinaigrette. If you're a meat eater, you'll enjoy one of the better cuts of beef you'll find at these prices, a 12 oz bone-in Kansas City strip steak served with tabacco fried onions & topped with Montreal steak butter, served with potato & vegetable. Ask your server for Chef Andres daily dessert selections, which are always very fresh. The atmosphere at Shadow is classy enough for a date or special occasion, but not stuffy. And the prices are the best you'll find for such quality & great service. Later in the evening, Shadow Lounge features a full band on Friday & Saturday night at 10pm. And the drink & martini menu will have something to please everyone.
