Seabar is known for some of the freshest & also the most creative seafood & sushi dishes in Buffalo. On our recent dinner stop, we also noticed a well-stocked & busy bar too. Be sure to call ahead to make reservations because when we got there, the dining rooms were packed. While we waited we enjoyed a couple of Southern Tier IPA draft beers, one of sevaral craft brews on tap at Seabar.

Some of the delicious selections that we sampled include: Sumo Noodles from the specials menu (Noodle Bowl with Raw & Stewed Beef, Mushrooms, Choy Sprouts & Slow Cooked Egg). And, also from the specials menu, the Whole Crispy Black Sea Bass - a whole tempora battered sea bass with a soy ginger sauce & chili dip. You actually pull strips of battered & fried fish to dip in the sauces!

Of course we tried a variety of expertly prepared, fresh sushi, with some delicious twists, including their signature Beef on Weck sushi rolls. We would also recommend the Chef's Sahimi Tasting - five fish, five flavors.

And, check out the amazing fish tacos - fish, avocado, salsa & a hard taco shell. For you land lovers, there are some hearty dinner options like the Chicken & Waffles or the 40 Hour Short Ribs.
